Joe Biden has been sworn
Joe Biden has been sworn in as the new US president. In his first speech, he said: "History, faith and reason show the way of unity."
He took the oath of office from Chief Justice John Roberts at the Capitol, where security was extra tight after the building was stormed by violent pro-Trump protesters on 6 January.
Donald Trump did not attend Mr Biden's inauguration ceremony
