Francisco Tárrega | LAGRIMA | Julia Mitchell

"Lagrima" (Teardrop) is a popular piece by the great Francisco Tárrega. Believed to of been composed sometime between 1881-1991 during a trip to London.  There are many speculations on why he would compose such a sad but romantic classical melody, some being his loss of his daughter, a battle with depression, and him missing his hometown in Spain. Although we don't know the true reason for this composition, we do know how he feels. This is truly a great example of "music speaks louder than words". His music is timeless.
