Here's an easy, almost free release agent suitable for all kinds of silicone or latex rubber molds. I have not tried it on any other material.
Many people have asked me if it works on other things as well. At first, I answered each query individually, but I received the same questions many times as it was evident that people were too lazy to read the description or search the answers I'd already given. The latest development is that I have started receiving abusive comments demanding that I answer the questions and run tests on other substances. As a result, I have decided to disable comments on this video. If you want to know if it works for other things besides silicone & latex rubber, you will have to experiment for yourself.
