When pregnant, Midge came out in stores. I remember asking my mom for this doll, but she didn’t seem too happy, so I never received it as a gift. My initial thought was because of the cost of the Barbie. During that time, Barbie had gone up in price, and my parents were slowly trying to get me away from toys altogether so that I could develop other interests. This doll never left my mind, but I have never seen her since that day. Now that I am older and started my collection again, I knew I had to have her, but the prices were too high until I came across a deal and didn’t think twice to snag her. I have had her stored away for two years until now.
