How to test and repair trouble code P1320. We'll be looking at the ignition coil and power transistor. Code P1320 is indicated when ignition signal in the primary circuit (of the power transistor - built into the coil on this vehicle) is not entered during engine cranking or running. This was performed on a 1997 Nissan Maxima. Check with your vehicle's repair manual for testing parameters.
