So Real Madrid completed a double session on their second day of pre-season training. Following this morning's intense workout, Ancelotti's team went back to work at Real Madrid City in the  evening. The first-team players started out in the gym, before moving outdoors to work alongside Castilla on possession and pressing drills, and games on reduced-size pitches. They then completed passing and shooting exercises, and finished off with fitness drills under the watchful eye of Pintus. With the arrival of Kylian Mbappe the players gave him a good reception when he storms Valdebebas to greet his new teammates.
In the morning session, Ancelotti's boys started off in the gym before moving out onto the pitch. Joined by the Castilla players, they worked on control and pressing drills, possession, and took shots on goal, finishing off with games on reduced-size pitches. Alaba continued with his recovery program. According to reports Kylian Mbappé will not play in USA pre-season tour.
Carlo Ancelotti and Kylian Mbappé himself have been advised that it’s better for him to rest physically and mentally before the start of his new chapter. Real Madrid decided that he will not play in USA pre-season tour. The plan is for Mbappé, Tchouaméni, Mendy, Camavinga to return to pre-season training at the same time.
But, this can change depending on each player’s personal plan . So Kylian Mbappé will join pre-season training on 7th August.
