A fifth-generation F-35B Lightning II stealth fighter from the 242nd Marine Fighter Strike Squadron (VMFA-242) performs a demonstration flight at the Singapore Airshow 2022. By participating in regional events such as the Singapore Airshow, the United States is demonstrating its commitment to the security of Indo- of the Pacific region, promote interoperability, demonstrate the flexible combat capabilities of the US military, create and strengthen partnerships throughout the Indo-Pacific region.
