This drama-documentary film is primarily aimed at children aged 7-12 years. It offers an immersive experience of the hard and demanding daily life in an Iron Age village in Scandinavia 2,000 years ago. Viewers will learn about the various crafts that the villagers needed to master in their struggle for survival. The film was produced at The Iron Age Village at Sagnlandet, Lejre, Denmark and first released in 1992. It has been broadcast on several European TV stations and is also utilised in schools across the United States.
