This episode was filmed 6th & 7th June 2022.
Another day starts in a tranquil park up at a gunpowder factory in Esquerdes, Pas-de-Calais, France.
Time to move on and we visit La Coupole, a concrete dome built by the Germans in WWII to house the V2 rocket, designed to destroy London.
Next we stop in St Omer for Carol to take a look at the famous Cathedral.
Back on the road we are disappointed by our first choice of park up - too busy and very dusty but moving on pays off with an idyllic spot to spend the night.
The next morning we plan to have a quiet day, heading to the coast in the drizzly rain.
After a warming lunch, Carol goes for a blowy walk around Cap Gris-Nez.
