Big thank you to my friend Dewan, he's originally from Bali, and he now lives in Mataram, Lombok. This is a restaurant he said I couldn't leave Lombok without trying. Thank you for breakfast Dewan! It was amazing.
I had a couple of Balinese friends telling me that Warung Mertha Yoga restaurant in Mataram, Lombok, Indonesia, served better Balinese food then you'd find in Bali - reason being because the restaurant is known for cooking Balinese dishes, but using Lombok spicy chilies.
6:30 am was the only time I could go, and so we went for an early meat feast breakfast. When we arrive they had already sold out of their famous chili ribs. So we settled for sate and other Balinese food.
Luckily, they came through with some extra chili ribs, and they were some of the best and most spicy ribs I've ever had ever.
Reason I don't have the price is because Dewan kindly paid, thank you for breakfast Dewan!
