Mambazha Kalan is a Kerala style ripe mango curry that uses sour yogurt and fresh coconut. It is also called as Mambazha pullisseri. This is one such traditional dish in Kerala served in sadya like Onam and Vishu. In fact, sadya is is not complete without this dish and the taste is so rich and different. This is a must try recipe and goes very well with rice based foods as well as accompaniments for Idli/Dosa as well.

Ingredients:
One big ripe mango (or) 2-3 small ripe mangos with small amount of turmeric powder as well as salt and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles, 1 litre of sour butter milk and churn it well in mixie, 1/2 big coconut grated, some green chillies, 2 tbsp jaggery powder, 1 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp fenugreek seeds, Desi Ghee, some mustard seeds, red chilli, curry leaves.
