Here is my recipe for one of the many body soaps I make. This one is a Lavender soap featuring real culinary lavender buds. Lovely!! After my basic soap video, you all requested my body soap so here it is!! I tried to make it as real-time as possible so you can see that soap making is as quick and easy as you want it to be :) This recipe uses simple, easy to find "grocery store" oils and makes a wonderful, moisturizing soap. This is my favorite recipe! My family and I have been using this soap for years and we love it!
Recipe:
60 oz. Lard
6 oz. coconut oil
8.95 oz. of lye
16 oz. of water
If you make it, please let me know how it turned out :) I'd love to hear from you, if you're nervous about using lye, you should rest assured it's not as scary as some may make it out to be.
