Amanda Seyfried discussed her personal struggles with portraying disgraced Theranos founder and CEO Elizabeth Holmes in “The Dropout.”
“It is so hard to mimic somebody and have so much pressure on your shoulders,” Seyfried said. “The show wouldn’t work if I didn’t work, and if people didn’t believe me. That is the challenge, getting over my own fears of inadequacy.”
Seyfried and was joined by Lily James from "Pam & Tommy", Murray Bartlett from “The White Lotus”, Himesh Patel from “Station Eleven” and “Dopesick” creator Danny Strong.
