The Congress Working Committee has requested Rahul Gandhi to take the position of the leader of opposition in Lok Sabha. The party said that Rahul Gandhi is the best person to lead inside the parliament. The CWC resolution praised Rahul Gandhi for his efforts in the election campaign. When Congress leader KC Venugopal was asked if Rahul Gandhi accepted the role of LoP in the Lok Sabha, he said that Rahul would take the decision very soon.
