Gaza War Day 274: IDF soldiers find long-range rockets, demolish tunnels in Shejaiya

IDF’s 7th Armored Brigade troops located long-range rockets during recent operations in Gaza City’s Shejaiya. The IDF said the finding “indicates renewed attempts by the enemy to establish itself in the area.” The army said the soldiers also located and demolished tunnel shafts and booby traps in Shejaiya. IDF troops have encountered and eliminated terrorists in close-quarters combat and dismantled terrorist infra both above and below ground. During scans carried out by the troops, they located dozens of combat compounds and booby-trapped buildings that were subsequently dismantled. The troops also located a weapons storage facility containing explosives, grenades, military vests, a kit for launching rockets and missiles, AK-47s and anti-tank missiles.
