How To Make Your Fireplace Slate Surround & Hearth Shine Like
New Again With Tung Oil. We first cleaned the area with soap and water and let dry. We then wiped off the area with a lint free cloth. We then applied some Tung Oil to the cloth and not directly to the area because can cause drips and runs. Then you just wipe it on with the cloth and let naturally dry and cure. Some smell may occur while using product and then it will dissipate. Just make sure where you are using it you have enough ventilation. Rick
