I'm establishing a food forest right now without spending a dime. That's right - this 1/3 acre food forest is free!

We planted the fruit trees in this food forest in about half a day of work, marking the little ones with stakes. I'm sure we'll add more trees and throw some seeds around, but the basic food forest was all planted in a single day! The nitrogen-fixers are already self-seeding and the rain is falling.
