In this German lesson you will learn verbs with prepositions. Certain verbs require a certain preposition. Accusative or dative? Question words "worauf", "wofür", "wozu", etc. and pronominal adverbs "darauf", "dafür", "dazu", etc.!
In grammar, a pronounal verb is a compound word consisting of a preposition and a part of a word that repeats something previously mentioned. For example "dafür" from the preposition "für" and a pronominally functioning element da-. The whole word is then called adverb in German grammar.
