The walking lunge with kickback is a favorite for women and men who are looking to increase leg AND glute strength doing something a bit more dynamic than traditional up and down movements or machines. This added movement with standard walking lunges helps to activate and better stimulate those glute muscles for growth!

The walking lunge with a kickback will give the quads plenty of work like a traditional walking lunge but will also tighten the glutes and improve balance as you raise the back leg. At first this may feel odd and/or super challenging due to poor balance or weak glutes but over time this will improve if you're consistent.
