"Restoring The Stone Outbuilding Using Lime Mortar: Farmhouse Renovation" reveals the last challenges Dawn faced as she completes stage one of stopping this 200 year old stone and lime built farm building from further collapse.

Completely new to working with lime and stones on this scale, this DIY video shows how Dawn works traditionally with the lime mortar and stones, rebuilding this part collapsed wall to help it stand for another 200 years.

Being complete beginners at farmhouse renovation, really needing a "homesteading for beginners" guide and now starting amateur archaeology, we are taking it slowly, enjoying everything we do no matter how hard it is, to one day realise our dream of running a fully functioning homestead from our once derelict Irish Farmhouse.
