Rambo comes to mind When thinking about Knives in Pop Culture. The Rambo II Knife is burned into my visual memory. I hope the current Blades do the "original" justice.
One of the most Savage looking Knives is used in Rambo 5 Last Blood. The Gil Hilben "Semi Machete". The structure of this Beast is very Basic, which makes this a nice Project for people who want to start Cardboarding, but with such a simple shape a clean execution is all the more necessary. That's what i tried.
Building this i found myself a much better way of sculpting the sharp side of the Blade.
In Rambo 5 two Knives are featured, the Gil Hilben and then there is the Heartstopper which seems to be the star of the show. I am building it right now. part 1 of 2 will go online tomorrow (friday) hopefully followed by part 2 on saturday.
It will be a Rambo Weekend.
