Step-by-step guide on how to replace / remove front headlights (headlamps) and front headlight light bulbs on Dodge Ram 1500 truck ( 2002 | 2003 | 2004 | 2005 | 2006 | 2007 | 2008 | SLT | ST | QUAD CAB | CREW CAB ).
If you are planning to replace or upgrade front headlights to aftermarket ones watch this video first. To remove the old head light, first unscrew two torx T30 screws on the inner side of the headlight. Then remove phillips plastic trim screw just next to it. After that you will have one more torx T30 screw on the outer edge of the headlight. This screw is a bit harder to access . If you are worried to scrath your bumper or the headlight you will have to remove that side of the front bumper. It is doable without removing the bumper by inserting ratchet extension just under the headlight. Once that screw is removed you can pull out the headlight. Now disconnect all light bulbs (turn signal lights, headlamps) to completely remove the headlight or remove just the light bulb you are replacing.
