How to Set up Goals in Google Calendar

In this video, I'm going to show you how to set up goals in Google Calendar. So I'm going to open up my Google Calendar app here and show you just what the goals looks like. So as you can see, I have made a goal to read. If I click into this, then you can see that I have got this set for three sessions a week and at the bottom, you can see that I can click if I've done this or just to task it for a later time or date. So now, let me show you how to set up a goal in Google Calendar.


So tap on the plus button, then select goal and here you have a few different options. So, you can set an exercise goal, build in a skill, spending time with your family and friends, some me time or some time to organise your life. So select one of the goals that you want to set. I'm going to select a goal for me time and set it to meditate. Now, if the option of the goal on this list isn't available for you, then just select custom and set your own custom goal.


Now you have a choice for once a week. Three times a week, five times a week every day and then you can select more options. Then you can select how long you want to do this goal for. So you can choose between 15 minutes, 30 minutes, one hour or two hours and again, you can select more than afternoon evening or anytime of the day.


You can tap on more options, just to change a few things around if you need to. If you're happy enough just hit the save button. Now to set up the goal, you have to hit the checkbox. So, tap on the checkbox, Google will then set the time up for you, and as time goes on, if this time doesn't suit, then you can adjust that.
