Ingredients for fava beans with tahini, Syrian style
4 cups well-boiled beans
1 cup tahini
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
1 cup bean boiling water (bean broth)
3 cups of yogurt (yogurt)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon paprika (finely ground dried red pepper powder)
1/2 half cup of olive oil
2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
Decorating components
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon dried ground pepper
