What it Means to Be Human | Greg Brooks | TEDxLSSC

This talks looks at contributing factors that set humans apart from others in the animal kingdom and how storytelling plays an integral part in our humanity and society. Greg Brooks has been thinking, writing, and teaching for much of his adult life. He is passionate about the pursuit of learning in both formal and informal settings. Greg has taught at several colleges and currently serves as an adjunct in the humanities department at Lake-Sumter State College and teaches social studies at The Villages Charter High School. His publications include articles written for Real Life Magazine, Liberty Magazine, and Gospel-Centered Discipleship. He and his wife, Fran, have three children and three grandchildren This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
