This video shows how to
This video shows how to model a porous media with a detailed step by step guide as an ABAQUS tutorial. The video uses aluminium foam as an example and documents the different steps from theory of porous media, virtual domain design, setup in ABAQUS and finally extraction of stress-strain plots from simulations. Two case studies were considered namely: (a) uniaxial x-axis tensile loading and (b) inplane XY-plane shear loading.
