Learn English - Mark Kulek ESL. Comparing Things - comparative adjectives. Using basic comparison adjectives: tastier than, more comfortable, healthier than, smarter than, friendlier than, more convenient than, faster than. The pattern will be: (noun) is (adjective) than the (noun). For example: Cookies are tastier than donuts. The comparison topics will be: animals, countries, clothing, food, and transportation. Each sentence is illustrated and color coded for better understanding. This is an interactive listening and speaking video. You will listen to Mark in the first part of this video and then you will practice on your own in the second part. This will build your fluency skills and help your speaking abilities, too. Have fun learning about comparing things and speak English now.

Cookies are tastier than donuts.
Sneakers are more comfortable than high heels.
cauliflower is healthier than potato chips.
Monkeys are smarter than donkeys.
Electric cars are more environmentally friendlier than gasoline cars.
