Basic C major excerise for tenor saxophone

Whole notes in C major scale for lower and upper octave, going up and down.
Long notes is a begginers-must excercise for any wind instrument, but it's also usefull at any level as warm-up and intonation drill.

HOW TO USE IT:
1. Listen to the sound
2. Play it.

Notes/suggestions:
1. Count all quarternotes qietly along with the metronome clicks.
2. Make sure you precisely hit the first quarternote and play until the last.
3. Repeat the excercise until you hit all sounds with precision and confidence.
4. Practice dynamics - play  piannissimo to fortissimo, crescendo, diminuendo etc.
5. Practice vibrato.
6. Once you've mastered fingering, to practice reading notes, turn off the sound and cover left side of the screen (including the letter). Now play the note you see.

Remember:
If you are self-learner, always focus on developig good habits - embouchure, posture, finger positions, etc. as it's much harder un-learn if you get these wrong. Bad habits can seriously limit your progress later. It's best if you at least consult a tutor before you do some serious damage ;)

PS - I created this for myself, I hope someone finds this helpful.
