In 2017, I visited the filming location of Daniel LaRusso’s New Jersey block from the 1984 movie the Karate Kid. In the story it was set in Newark, NJ. But in reality it was filmed in Harrison, NJ (Franklin Avenue off Hamilton Street). This video tells what I saw, noticed, and speculated, during my visit.
