How did I come up with this image:
I always collect the golden paper of the chocolate. Because I like to glue it on the canvas. An abstract landscape was created from it. I see the golden light of the sun. How it discolors the wet sandy beach and is reflected on the sea. The longing for the sea is always with me and finds its expression in painting.
About the technique:
I have incorporated a texture with the GoldFoil. The foil beats folds, which I use as texture and the luminosity of the foil I use for shimmering effects. You can see how I apply the gold foil with glue. This went very easily. Some texture paste adds ridges and depth to the image. I put the paint on wet. It flows into the traces of the paste and colors them.
