Today I am going to share south indian udupi style sambar masala powder recipe in hindi. There were many variations of sambar powder available. kerala sambar powder , tamil sambar powder , brahmin sambar powder , udupi sambar powder, etc. Today we are going to see how to make udupi style sambhar masala powder recipe in hindi. Later on I will post other variations of sambar powder also. You can use this south indian masala for making instant sambar easily  at home.

Ingredients :
Coriander seed - 1 cup
Cumin Seed (jeera ) - 1/4 cup
Kashmiri Chilli - 15 nos ( if not available use kashmiri chilli powder)
Red Chilli - 10 nos
Fenugreek  - 1  tsp
Chana dal (split chickpeas ) - 1Tbsp
Urad Dal  (skinless black gram ) - 2Tbsp
black pepper - 1tsp (optional)
curry leaves - 2 strings
Turmeric Powder - 1tsp
Kada Hing (Compounded Asafoetida) - 1 Tbsp ( if hing not available, use hing powder)
Dry coconut pieces - 2tsp optional
