Can You Paint Molded Gelcoat Nonskid Successfully??

VIEWER SUBMISSION: This is one of those things that sounds like a quick and easy way to freshen up a decks weathered nonskid, but can it actually work and more importantly are there any downsides??  Thanks for the topic Jim!!
