012 - Opening Ceramany of Veeragandham Kalakendram by Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR) at Vinukonda

Veeragandham Kalakendram was the dream project of late Sri Veeragandham Venkata Subbarao. He started this Kalakendram at his native town, Vinukonda by constructing a building with his own funds. The main objective of this organisation was to provide shelter to old artists and serve as a learning platform for new artists. Late Sri Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao came to Vinukonda to inaugurate this building on 27 December 1991. However, the organisation is now no more functioning and the building was also sold by his sons after Sri Veeragandham';s death in 2001 due to lack of resources and supporters to continue the same.
