Endeavor Land Speed Record

U/DT (Unlimited Diesel Truck) 8300 International. The first 4 minutes of this video was recorded as a promotional video of Endeavor II in 1991. The remainder of the video (Endeavor III) was filmed in 1992 by Gene Olsen, International Trucks aerodynamics expert and designer of the body work and ground effects for the Endeavor. The chassis was constructed in the shop of McCombs Engine Sales in 1990 with 12V71 Detroit Diesel power and 905 Fuller transimission provided by same. Body, ground effects and paint were completed by Navistar in Ft. Wayne, IN. The truck currently resides in the NATMUS Museum in Auburn, IN.
