2 Isaiah Scroll of Qumran - Video

In 1947, the great Isaiah scroll of Qumran was presented to the Chief Archaeologist of Israel, Eleazar Sukenik, at the fence dividing Jerusalem.  A Christian Arab Merchant had obtained possession of it and used the Metropolitan of the Syrian Orthodox Church on a mission to find it's value.  As the dust settled, it was found that this great scroll, 1000 years older than the Masoretic text, more closely aligned to the ancient and lost Septuagint of Alexandria, 250BC.
