After work, I went for a walk in Banpo Hangang Park, where the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain is located. The beautiful rainbow fountain show and the beautiful night view of the surrounding Han River were so enchanting. About Banpo Moonlight Rainbow Fountain The Moonlight Rainbow Fountain is a core project of the Han River Renaissance, which began in June 2007 and was inaugurated in April 2009 as a bridge fountain with a magnificent and dynamic image of the Han River in a static image of the river. To create the full width of the Han River in Seoul (about 700 meters), submersible pumps are used to spray water in time to music over a 1,140-meter stretch on the upstream and downstream sides of the Banpo Bridge section. The program is not just water, but a beautiful and harmonious combination of background music and fountain performances, and at night, landscape lighting is used to show a fantastic night view of the Han River.
On November 7, 2008, the fountain was registered as the "World's Longest Bridge Fountain" by Guinness World Records, and the performance of the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain at the opening ceremony, dance recital, and grand opening ceremony proved its potential as a new cultural space and tourist attraction. The Renaissance Flower Moonlight Rainbow Fountain of the Han River is a new attraction of the Han River, a place of love with beautiful music and scenery, and will be etched in the hearts of citizens as a place of beautiful memories where a new living culture is created.
