Veg biryani is an aromatic rice dish made with rice, veggies, spices and yogurt. This is the most easy and fool proof way to make biryani at home. Made in one pot, it will save your time and satisfy your craving for a good homemade biryani at home. I regularly make this at home and it tastes awesome.

𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀:
0:00 Intro to Mix Vegetable Biryani
0:58 Soak the Basmati Rice
1:10 Slice the Onions
1:15 Fry the Onions till Golden Brown
1:42 Saute onions, ginger garlic and tomatoes
2:38 Add all the Mixed Vegetables
3:30 Add the yogurt
4:04 Add the soaked rice
5:19 Cook on Low Heat
5:41 Ready to Serve!

𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦
1 Cup | 210gm Basmati Rice
4 Tbsp Vegetable oil, 1 Tsp Ghee
1 Bay Leaf, 3 Cardamom, 3 Cloves, 1 small star anise, 1 cinnamon stick
2 Medium size Onions (Fry 3/4th of it till Golden and set aside)
1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 small Tomato
Salt to taste
1 Tsp Sugar
210gm Chopped Mixed Vegetables(Carrots, Beans, potatoes, Green peas, Cauliflower)
1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 Tsp Cumin powder
1 Tsp Coriander powder
1 Tsp Shahi Biryani Masala
1 Tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
3 Tbsp whisked Yogurt
2 Slit Green Chillies
Chopped Coriander & Mint leaves
2 Cups Hot Water
1 Tsp Lemon Juice
Fried Onions
Few drops of Kewra water
Crushed Saffron mixed with Warm Milk
1 Tsp Ghee

After adding the soaked rice in boiling water with the veggies, Cook on High Heat for 5 mins or till the top water dries up, small holes appear at the surface of the rice. Switch to Low heat, garnish with chopped coriander mint leaves, fried onions, saffron milk, Ghee, Kewra water and cover airtight. Place the pot on a Tawa on Lowest Heat and cook for 10 mins. Keep covered for another 15-20 Mins before opening.
