When my trusty Prius needed
When my trusty Prius needed to go in for service (water pump) and I needed to drive from Palm Springs to LA, I had to rent a car. Budget at PSP had some good deals to rent a Tesla ($56 a day before taxes and fees) so I rented a 2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range. This has dual motors, AWD and a range of about 333 miles on a full charge.
Here is my full review of the Tesla Model 3 Long Range from Budget car rental after driving it for a few days, including back and forth between Palm Springs and LA on the freeway, a distance of about 100 miles.

I rented this Tesla Model 3 Long Range from Budget car rental at PSP Airport. I always use them when I need to rent a car and they always deliver great service. A tip, if you're not flying in, get to the airport before 8 am as it's before the flights arrive and usually quite empty.
