The Cars performing with Benjamin Orr on lead vocals Moving in Stereo and Candy-O on September 17th in 1979 on the Midnight Special. I love the way Greg plays the intro to this song and I adore the bass riff/solo part Benjamin plays at around 3.20. This song is one of my favourites and this performance is truly epic in my opinion, it proves to me that The Cars with Benjamin Orr were legendary :D

The Cars had been asked to appear on Midnight Special, which at the time was more pop orientated, and they said no unless they could host it and choose the rest of the guests.
It happened so this is from the episode which they hosted and here is what they performed and other guests performed.
So on September 17th 1979 The Cars performed live
