VMWare Fixed Windows | How to install Windows 11 22H2 on VMWare Workstation Pro17? Installing Windows 11 on VMWare Workstation could not get easier. VMWare have finally resolved the issue of installing Windows 11 and addressed the TPM requirements. One of the requirements to install windows 11 is TPM. TPM (Trusted Platform Module) is a chip on computers that holds security information such as biometrics hash. When you installed Windows 11 on older version of VMWare it would fail as it could not find the TPM. By introduction of VMWare 17, VMs will have a virtual TPM. By this Windows will meet all the requirements and you are able to continue the installation without the need for any workaround. The only difference is that VMWare will require to encrypt the VM files to keep your data safe.
