Candy Apple TV: HOW TO
Candy Apple TV: HOW TO MAKE CARAMEL CHOCOLATE CANDY APPLES will be shown in this video. If you need a slower tutorial on how to melt the caramel bits, please go to the following video here: How to make CARAMEL Candy Apples.
As soon as your caramel melts, go ahead and dip your GRANNY SMITH APPLES in the caramel. Make sure you're standing at the stove, continuously stirring the caramel so your caramel does not burn.
You can use any caramel recipe. I used this recipe because it was faster. I usually just try to find the cheapest ingredients and brand.
Melt your chocolate and dip your apples in the chocolate. Melt your chocolate in15 second intervals using the microwave. Put 1-2 tablespoons of coconut or vegetable oil in your chocolate to help your chocolate melt smooth.
I purchased creamer, wooden apple sticks, and Kraft Caramel Bits all from Walmart. The rose silicone mold was purchased on Amazon.com
Now you should have beautiful CHOCOLATE COVERED CARAMEL APPLES. Place your apples on the parchment paper or a silicone mat. To prevent the caramel from sticking you can also spray a little Pam on the parchment paper or silicone mat.
