Is FlyUp417 bike park AWSOME? Well the simple answer to that question is YES!

Today was my first experience of the FlyUp417 Bike Park in Gloucestershire. As I live in Kent (South East UK), it took me about 2.5hrs to travel to the park but that makes it a great viable option for either a 1 day'er or a quality weekend trip. I spent an amazing day with some members of the @fortysomethingriders FaceBook group, of who'm I'm proud to be a part of as a group admin. (Link below).
This is part 1 of 2 and I decided to shred the HARDCORE HARDTAIL that is my Whyte 905 for the first half of the day.
ABOUT THE 417 BIKE PARK :
The 417 Bike Park is the biggest privately owned mountain bike facility in England offering a variety of riding disciplines within one venue.
The bike park is made up of a mix of trails for all skills and abilities that range from x3 Blue, x6 Red and 3 black trails that also include a dual slalom, a four cross track and even an indoor pump track!
The uplift service is excellent, it basically doesn't stop from 10:00 - lunch and continues until about 17:00. They are capable of transporting x16 people in the large mini-buses and bikes on the trailers but be aware that fat bikes do not fit on the uplift trailers, however, my Whyte 905 is a 27.5+ sized bike with 2.8" tyres and they just squeezed in! *TOPTIP: Chat with the uplift crew for up to date trail info!
There's a great shop on site covering all your MTB needs / maintenance requirements and a great cafe with all the fuel you'll need to keep you shredding the trails! They also offer skills coaching for all ages and bike hire!
Quite simply, the FlyUp417 Bike Park is AWESOME and should not be missed. They are a developing business and have great plans for the future of the park. All the staff are so helpful / friendly and really go the extra mile to make everyone feel welcomed and welcome-catered for.
