FINALLY! Marathon: Durandal is backwards
FINALLY! Marathon: Durandal is backwards compatible! One of my all time favorite games and easily my favorite in the series. This port was what got me into the Marathon trilogy when I was looking for a game to play before Halo: Reach came out. I am forever grateful for the 360 version for making me into a Marathon fan.
As far as my impression with the emulation goes, it feels very smooth. I don't think I notice any differences at all compared to playing my 360 version which is definitely a good thing. It took me a while to get used to the Xbox One controller, but I got used to it fairly quickly, and it just felt just as good as playing the 360 controller.
Other than that, the video itself is me playing the first seven levels of the game on Total Carnage. I haven't played this game much recently, but I was surprised how well I still remember it. It just tells you how much I love this game, and I'm so glad I can finally play this game with both Doom I and II on Xbox One.
