In this video I talk about everything I love about UChicago (aka my favourite things about UChicago / how UChicago students are like / things you should know about UChicago before coming here / things I likeabout UChicago / things I did not expect about UChicago / expectations vs. reality (sort of)).
From UChicago students and how vocal and open we are, to resources and support on campus, and even brand name and alumni network --- I cover a few of my thoughts on my experience at UChicago :)

5:53 UChicago’s reputation is amazing in the post-college world and amongst people outside of UC — You never have to worry about your abilities being doubted / second-guessed or coming off as someone who didn’t live up to certain standards by an employer :)
8:40 The vast variety of resources and how readily available they are + how the school really steps up and tries to provide for their students as much as possible — advisors will give you individualised advice and you always feel like you CAN do things
13:01 Our campus is very vocal, but not in a negative or abrasive way — being able to have cool conversations with differing opinions without myopic mindsets is a standard / norm and oftentimes you’ll end up learning something new + seeing things in a new way
A short note on competitiveness — in short, UChicago IS competitive, but in a way that makes you feel motivated and positive, not depressed and pressurised and bleak

‼️BLACK LIVES MATTER, even though the protests seem to be no longer a "hot topic" and media coverage is decreasing. The problem is NOT solved, our attention span has simply lapsed.
I try not to talk politics on this channel (follow my ig if you want my thoughts) -- but this is beyond "political". This is a legitimate hazard and disaster for society.
