What happens to caste after conversion? Does the caste persist even after that? And what do those who believe in Islam, Sikhism or Christianity think about this? What happens to caste while going in different religions? In trying to find the answer, we learned that there is no direct answer to this. One of the major reasons for this is that there is no place for caste system in any religion and those who believe in that religion should not be casteist, are different things. People for their respective religions claim that there is no caste system in their religion. If seen from this point of view, caste should end after changing religion. However, how realistic is this on a practical level?
