Recently during the hearing before a three judge bench led by the Chief Justice of India on a batch of petitions pertaining to the NEET-UG 2024 row, Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud had a fiery exchange of words with a Supreme Court lawyer - Advocate Mathews Nedumpara - when the latter interrupted his court proceedings. In the video that has since then gone viral, CJI Chandrachud can be seen sternly but politely telling Mr Nedumpara to not interrupt his proceedings. Several times in the recent past, CJI Chandrachud has had to be stern and put his foot down before several senior and junior lawyers of the Court.
