All FREE Skins in Season 2 of MW2 & Warzone 2!
In this video we’re going to take a look at all the free skins that you can currently unlock during Season 2. This includes skins that are completely free and you can get unlocked through Warzone 2 and also skins that are technically free but you do need to have MW2 in order to get them.
So let's not waste any time and get straight into it.
The first skin that’s free to unlock in either game is the Virtue skin for Roze. This one is currently available through the path of the ronin event which is a limited time event, So if you want to get this skin unlocked you need to do so before the 14th of March PST.
The challenge to get it unlocked is to either finish in the top 10 of a game of Warzone 5 different times or in MW2 you need to win 15 multiplayer matches. You don’t need to do both, You just need to do one challenge or the other
Next also for free in warzone is the Apparation skin. This one isn’t an easy skin to unlock but it still is on offer to get for free
So to unlock this one you first need to go on a 5 game win streak in Battle Royale and then in the next game you’ll be given a champions quest contract which requires you to head around the map and collect different elements for the nuke and then arm the actual nuke itself. If you can successfully set the nuke off then you’ll unlock the apparition skin for the ranger default operator.
Next there are 5 free skins you can unlock in DMZ, 4 of them are free for warzone players but one of them does require you to own MW2.
The first is the Biohazard skin which is still available to unlock through killing the juggernaut in Al Mazarah and extracting the weapons case 7 Different times.
Another 4 are available from completing certain Faction Missions in the DMZ.
You can unlock the Sleet Skin for the Kortac Operator by completing the Tier 3 story mission for White Lotus, The Grunt Work Skin for the Ranger Operator is unlocked completing the Tier 3 story mission for Legion, The Macroburst Skin for Operator Kleo is unlocked by completing the Tier 3 story mission for Black Mous and then also the Foxtrot skin for operator reyes is unlocked by doing the Tier 3 story mission for the crown faction.
So like i say the first 4 skins that i mentioned are available 100% free but for the final foxtrot skin you do need to own MW2 in order to get access to the crown missions.
Now if you are free to play for Warzone there are actually 4 operators that you can unlock without needing to own MW2. Each of them have a really simple challenge to complete in order to unlock them.
You can unlock Operator Konig by performing a finishing move
You can Unlock Operator Zimo by simply getting a kill with secondary weapon
You can unlock Operator Roze by getting a point Blank kill
And you can also unlock Operator Kleo by getting a single kill with a piece of lethal equipment.
Obviously there are also 15 other operators that you can unlock but you need to own MW2 in order to complete the challenges for them.
4 of them are unlocked through finishing certain missions in the campaign
3 of them are unlocked through completing certain Spec Ops Missions
Operator Gaz is still available to unlock by completing Episode one of the Raid
And the remaining 7 are unlocked through completing multiplayer challenges that are just as simple as the ones you can do in Warzone but instead you just need to complete them in MW2 Multiplayer..
Now moving also in MW2, Ranked Play is available and at the moment there are a few different skins that you can get through playing
In ranked mode you have 2 separate levels, you have your SR rank which you’ll earn points towards if you win and lose points for if you lose a game of ranked and you’ll be ranked in a division depending on how much SR you have. Each of the different divisions have their own themed operator skin to unlock from Bronze through to irredesent
There is also just a regular leveling system in Ranked that you’ll earn stars towards for simply winning games, you’ll get one star each time that you win. After 5 wins you’ll unlock the Ranked Competitor skins and after 50 ranked wins you’ll unlock the Ranked Veteran Skins.
