GEORGE STRAIT: "EL REY" in San Antonio

George Strait performed "El Rey" to a cheering San Antonio crowd at the Alamo Dome May 1, 2010.  It was during his encore and fans had crowded up to the stage to get close to him, happily singing the background words as George passionately and powerfully delivered the song.  My friend and I got pushed and jostled around a bit, but there were smiles all around - everyone was so happy to be there and have George right there doing what he does so well.
George thanked the crowd at the end,  flashing that big Strait smile that we all love.  He had a grand time, it was a celebration, a wonderful experience.
I was so blessed to have been there to have the experience and make those memories.  I hope you have enjoyed the experience, and that you are able to see George live in concert soon.  He IS El Rey.
