Here is a quick video tutorial on how to replace the transfer case fluid in your 2004-2008 Ford F150 4x4. This is something that is very easy and anyone can do. Thanks for watching! So Ford stopped making XT-12 and it is replaced with LV. Now you just need 2 quarts of LV to put in these older trucks. You used to be able to use Mercon but then Mercon V came out which you can't use in a transfer case. So XT-12 was invented then disconnected. Now we use Mercon LV which I have left below.
