Technical animation describes the equation used to interpret ground-water pressure and the character of the host rock during waste-water injection. This technique to continuously monitor water-injection wells was developed by Howard Hall in 1963. This simple tool is based on the assumption of steady state radial flow. Hall’s method uses information about the mean ambient reservoir pressure, and it is assumed that the equivalent radius, er , of the reservoir domain influenced by the well is constant during the observation period.
